It will displace water, prevent rust and penetrate into the pores of the metal to protect your equipment. Blade Dip will help remove rust. It can be used to cool your blades while clipping by pouring about 1 inch into a Blade Wash Caddie. Remove the grill and dip your clipper blades into the Blade Dip while the clipper is running, then remove and wipe off excess Blade Dip before clipping clean hair.
