Isoxsuprine Hydrochloride causes dialation of the blood vessels to help improve blood flow to the hooves.  Isoxsuprine Hydrochloride is a vasodilating agent and easy to administer. All prescription items are Non-Refundable and Non-Returnable. - CAUTIONS\/WARNINGS:Caution: Federal law restricts this drug to use by or on the order of a licensed veterinarian. Isoxsuprine should not be administered to animals immediately post-partum or in the presence of arterial bleeding.  Warning:  After parenteral administration, horses may show symptoms of CNS stimulation (uneasiness, hyperexcitability, nose-rubbing) or sweating. Adverse effects are unlikely after oral administrations but hypotension, tachycardia and GI effects are possible.  Keep out of reach of children and animals. All prescription items are Non-Refundable and Non-Returnable. - DIRECTIONS:Recommended dosages only. Always follow the directions for dosing and administration from your veterinarian. For the treatment of orthopedic conditions, such as navicular disease: A). For long break-over if therapeutic shoeing does not correct: Initially, 1.2 mg\/kg by mouth every 8 hours for 3 weeks. The dose is decreased as soundness improves to 1.2 mg\/kg by mouth once daily for 6 weeks, then every other day until heel first landing occurs.   Note: To maximize effect, doses must be given routinely as directed. Tablets may be crushed and make into a slurry\/suspension\/paste by adding corn syrup, cherry syrup, etc just before administration.
