Dosage & Directions

Nupro is formulated to be given during or after your pet has eaten. For best results daily dosages may be divided between AM and PM. Initial Use: Administer for 3 months (or until desired results are achieved.) Enclosed scoop= 1 ounce. Dogs weight: Quantity Required Daily. Under 5 lbs: 1/4 scoop 6-10 lbs: 1/3 scoop 11-20 lbs: 1/2 scoop 21-40 lbs: 1 scoop 41-70 lbs: 1 1/2 scoops Over 70 lbs: 2 scoops Maintenance use: After initial 3 months, daily dosage may be decreased to one half of the above quantities.

As with all animal health supplements, consult with your veterinairan before using this product in animals with clotting disorders, being treated with anticoagulant medications, with diabetes or any metabolic disorder causing hyperglycemia, with a history of urinary tract stones, or with known allergies to shellfish. If lameness worsens, discontinue use and contact your veterinarian. Administer during or after the animal has eaten to reduce the incidence of gastrointestinal upset. An examination from a veternarian is recommended prior to using this product.
