Ketoconazole Ketoconazole is used to treat several fungal infections in dogs, cats and other small species. It is also used clinically for the medical treatment of hyperadrenocorticism in dogs. It can be used in palliative therapy in dogs with large, malignant, or invasive tumors and in whome surgery is not an option. It is used frequently in dogs for stabilization prior to surgery.
