Meloxicam Meloxicam is an FDA-approved (in the USA) generic that is equivalent to Metacam. It is used for reducing pain and inflammation in animals. In dogs meloxicam is principally used for the symptomatic treatment of osteoarthritis. In cats it is for the control of postoperative pain and inflammation associated with orthopedic surgery, ovariohystorectomy and castration when administered prior to surgery. This item is NON-RETURNABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE. - CAUTIONS/WARNINGS:Keep away from children and other househould pets May cause stomach ulcers and bleeding, it should not be given to animals who already have stomach or bleeding problems.
