Be mindful of how many pieces of orange you give your dog, especially if your dog is diabetic. While they are healthy for dogs, they also contain very high sugar content, which can be harmful when too much is ingested. It's possible that eating too many oranges can cause GI upset and lead to diarrhea or vomiting. Because of the high acidity content, you might want to limit your dog's orange consumption if they have a sensitive stomach. It's also important to not let your pet eat the skin of the orange.
