Doxycycline hyclate is a broad-spectrum antibiotic synthetically derived from oxytetracycline It is used to treat kennel cough, in conjunction with heartworm treatment, for blood borne pathogens such as Lyme, E. canis, Rocky Mountain spotted fever, and for respiratory pathogens.
